Torrent Ratio Keeper F.A.Q.

• Can I be banned?
  You cannot be banned if you only use upload boost or "Seeder Mode" or "Emulate Upload Problems". Torrent trackers have no way of detecting these. If you use download boost, it will show that you are only downloading portions of files. It could look suspicious, but no one is banned for it at this time. Also, don't use the program all of the time. If your ratio is too high, it's not good. ;)
  We've found that several Romanian, Russian, Indian, Chinese trackers can ban their users, if the upload increase is too high. For example, let's assume the maximum possible upload speed is 10MB/s in your country, and you are using 500% upload increase. Your speed will be 60MB/s, but admins know that there are no Internet Service Providers offering these speeds in your country. To avoid this problem, we recommend that you use "Seeder Mode", and no upload increase.
• Does your program collect information about torrents?
  No. Torrent Ratio Keeper doesn't save any information about active or inactive torrents.
• What if I'm using a different torrent client?
  Feel free to contact us and provide information about your torrent client. We can discuss the support for your favorite torrent client.
• Can I close the program while my torrent client is working?
  It's not recommended. It will reduce the upload boost and it will look "strange" from the tracker's perspective.
• I set Increase Uploaded Traffic value to 500% and it shows only 320%. Why?
  Our program tries to use your settings. To avoid suspicious activity on torrent trackers, it chooses the best suitable values, based on your settings.
• How often does the statistics update?
  It depends on how often the torrent client sends it's reports to the torrent tracker. Usually this happens every 5-20 minutes.
• How can I run TRK on Vista 64bit?
  You'll need to run TRK and your torrent client as Administrator (right click->Run as Administrator).
• Is there a version for Linux or MacOS?
  Yes. We have Linux/MacOS/*BSD versions for Leecher and Monster editions.
• How can I change Torrent Ratio Keeper skin?
  You can download the version with a fancy interface or an old fashion classic interface. It's all your own choice, there's no difference in functionality. Check out both available interfaces.
• What payment methods do you support?

• How long can I use Trial version?
  The trial version works for 20 days from it's first start.
• Recently i purchased the program and today it shows me that the "Trial period is over". I tried to enter my license key, but the program keeps saying: "License key is wrong".
  This may occur if you enter your key as guest on your PC, and now you're logged in as admin. Please be sure that you always login using the same session mode. Your unique PC key may change if you:
  1. Login as guest (and you entered License key as admin)
  2. Format your Hard Drive
  3. Reinstall OS.
